Adler Planetarium commissioned the design and fabrication of the Planet Explorers exhibition to allow children to enjoy a kid-sized experience. Here they learn about the challenges in space travel and "getting around" on another planet. Beginning in an "earth bound" back yard they climb aboard a rocket ship and travel to a distant planet, traversing the surface and conducting experiments. We also created a thematic gift shop that the exhibition exits into.
